Kathy Owens

BUILDville Assistant

Kathy attended Broken Arrow High School before heading to Oklahoma State to get her degree in Business. At school, she met her husband Dan and was married after college. After living in Texas for 3 years, they came back to Tulsa and started their family. Kathy and Dan have two daughters, Miranda and Kelsey and Kelsey’s husband David.

Once her first daughter was born, Kathy left her full-time job to be a stay at home mom. While trying to get out for some more social time with other moms and asking God for guidance going forward, she started working for Asbury church in the nursery. After 28 years at Asbury, she retired having finishing in the role of Director of Asbury Kids.

After volunteering for Building all Children in her retirement, she joined the team and now works with kids once again.
