Child Development Specialist

We are not currently hiring for the Child Development position, however we would love to have your resume for future positions.

The Child Development Specialist will be hired as a W-2 employee, with a schedule based on program needs. This position will be estimated at 25-30 hours weekly. 

The position of Child Development Specialist must have a master’s degree in early childhood education or special education. Master’s level SLP may apply. Candidate must be self-motivated, dependable, compassionate, and strive to work with excellence. Our Child Development Specialists ASSESS children and then RESOURCE families. The Child Development Specialist will administer developmental and academic assessments not to diagnose, but for families to learn more about their child’s developmental needs and gifts. After assessments, our Child Development Specialist will develop a resources plan to share with families. This position requires someone who is willing to walk alongside families and EMPOWER them as they take steps to help their child BUILD development. This is a position that is meant for someone looking for a long-term position with us. Hourly compensation will be based upon level of education and experience.

Reading Specialist and Tutor

We are now accepting applications for Fall 2024.

The Reading Specialist/Tutor position will be hired as a contract employee, with a schedule based on program needs and the contractor’s availability. The Reading Specialist/Tutor must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and teaching experience.

Our Reading Specialist/Tutor will implement our “Building All Reader’s Program” by regularly practicing the following:

  • Work one-on-one or within small groups with children to teach and improve reading skills. 
  • Develop plans for the children intended to best meet and serve their individual and collective needs.
  • Pray with families and provide compassion.
  • Review with appropriate family members the progress of individual children, and encourage a supportive home environment conducive for regular reading and attention to homework assignments. 

Hourly compensation will be based upon level of education and experience.
