Melissa Morrow

Child Development Specialist

Melissa is married to her husband, Phillip, and has three small children.  As a family, they love movie nights, road trip adventures, and outdoor activities. 

Melissa is originally from Elkhorn, Nebraska. She has a degree in Elementary and Special Education from Northwest Missouri State University and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Peru State College.

After graduating from Northwest, Melissa taught second grade and Special Education in Elkhorn, Nebraska before moving and teaching at Jenks Public Schools in the same grade and specialty. Once her two oldest children were in preschool at Asbury, she developed, piloted and taught a preschool class for learners with unique learning styles for three years. 

In her varied classroom experience, she created a classroom environment that was conducive to unlocking potential in kids by understanding and utilizing their individual learning preferences.  

She truly believes that all children are created by God and loved by him. Melissa has a passion for aiding the diverse learner and walking hand-in-hand with families to support and encourage them on their child’s education path.
