Gayla Cox

Tiny Town Coordinator

After graduating from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Gayla moved to Tulsa and worked in banking for many years before making the decision to transition to part time teaching in order to spend additional time with her children. Gayla has worked at Asbury Pre-K for the last 21 years and has been amazingly blessed by the many children in her classes and their families.

Gayla is an Oklahoma native and currently lives in Broken Arrow. She and her husband of 27 years, Donnie, have 3 adult children. Gayla enjoys volunteering with her children’s activities, her sorority’s alumnae chapter and Asbury Church and loves to embroider and garden. Volunteering previously with Building All Children’s Community Playgroups has tapped into an additional love of serving our community’s families and she continues to be blessed to work with families through Tiny Town.
