In Part 7 of AHA Moments with Kendra, Kendra reflects on one of the most meaningful turning points in the early days of Building All Children- the power of church partnership and stepping out in faith.
Kendra shares how her very first church partner came from her small hometown church in Kingfisher, where she publicly shared her story for the first time. It was there she began opening up about the vision behind Building All Children and the calling she felt to create a ministry that would serve children and families while glorifying the Lord.
She also reflects on the encouragement of her cousin, Justin, who challenged her to think bigger, BIGGER than what felt comfortable at the time. From future space needs to fundraising and long-term vision, his challenge pushed Kendra to begin praying bolder prayers and trusting God with what felt impossible.
Out of those prayers came an idea that would shape the future of BAC… a dinner fundraiser where she could share her story, cast vision, and invite others into the heart behind the ministry. What started as a simple idea quickly became something much bigger as doors began opening in unexpected ways! God’s faithfulness was evident with a FREE venue and FREE food for that very first event! Kendra shares how she found herself in tears, amazed at how clearly the pieces were falling into place.
This episode is a reminder that sometimes growth begins with one act of obedience, one person who believes in the vision, and the courage to pray bigger than you ever imagined.
