Making a difference, ONE classroom at a time!

Our BUILDteachers Conference was about so much more than a day of professional development, it was about making a difference in the lives of thousands of children!

This Is So Much More Than A Conference!

This year, nearly 200 teachers joined us to learn, grow, and gain new tools to better support the children they serve. If each teacher impacts an average of 20 students, that means nearly 4,000 children could benefit from what was learned and shared at this conference!

We were honored to hear from AMAZING speakers such a Heather Parmley and Stephanie Barton who are experts in their fields who helped equip teachers with practical knowledge on topics including communication challenges in today’s classrooms, occupational therapy, and countless ways to better understand, teach, and support growing minds!

A special thank you to PaperPie for their incredible donation of books! Because of their generosity, we were able to give away more than 800 books to the teachers in attendance! Each book was thoughtfully selected to fit different age ranges, interests, and learning levels, giving teachers new resources to bring directly into their classrooms.

We are so grateful to every speaker, teacher, volunteer, and partner who helped make this event such a success. We are already looking ahead and planning for next year's BUILDteachers Conference!

Because when we equip teachers, we equip classrooms. When we strengthen classrooms, we help build brighter futures for children across the Tulsa area!
