This is a great way to increase language, work on visual discrimination, fine motor skills, and teach the Truth to your children. Take a puzzle and place pictures of your child behind the puzzle pieces. It will encourage them to talk about the pictures and you can provide more language by describing the specific items in the pictures.
Put some Truth in the puzzle fun so that you can tell your child that “God made them!” And “God loves them!”

For older children you can use the back of a puzzle with several pieces and write a scripture so the are putting together a scripture from the Bible. As they figure this out and it becomes easy for them, take a piece out and have them tell you what’s missing!!!! Molding their hearts with the Truth!
