The Sanctuary Church opened the doors for Building All Children to come play, teach and have fun!
Before the children came, the volunteers spent time making all the stations perfect!
PLAYING IN A PILE OF LEAVES
The volunteers brought in leaves and the children had a blast! They raked, scooped, pushed, crushed and threw the leaves. This allowed children to work together in community while playing.
Hole Punching
Hole punching is hard for children to do but it works several of those small muscles that need strengthening!
Paint the Pumpkins
THANKFUL TREE!
We had the children write down what they were thankful for…this was precious and we loved reading their thoughts. I heard a mom spending time with her son and she was telling him what she was thankful for. Sometimes we need to slow down and express to our children how we are thankful for them!
HAMMER THE PUMPKINS!
The children LOVED this activity! We took golf tees and the children hammered them into the pumpkins. Pull the golf tees out and hammer again! This activity will keep them busy!
JINGLE BELL BRACELETS
The children had a great time making jingle bell bracelets. I know I wore my custom bracelet all day:).

This craft allowed the children to be creative and imaginative!
COUNT THE PUMPKINS SEEDS!
The children loved to put their hands in the pumpkins and pull out seeds and all kinds of muck:). Multisensory learning!!!
We had the best volunteers! We captured a little girl seeing her last year teacher…look at that smile on her face! THANK YOU VOLUNTEERS FOR BEING SO WONDERFUL!
We closed the playgroup with reading and sharing about how God makes everything and we need to be thankful! Reading…playing…learning…BUILDING!
