We had so much fun spending the evening with the Little Light House family! Tulsa’s Little Light House is internationally recognized for providing some of the most highly individualized, special education and therapeutic early intervention services in the world. A team approach is maximized to ensure a comprehensive approach to assisting each child in reaching their maximum potential.
Each year The Little Light House has a Resource Fair for their families to help them connect with the Tulsa community and receive appropriate resources. Building All Children LOVES to be a small part of this and spend the evening supporting families and listening to their needs.
This year we provided the families with Prayer Bears! Our volunteers wrote scriptures on the bears and the children received a Prayer Bear that was handmade by an AMAZING group of women. The ladies that made the bears were from theChurch at Battle Creek and each bear was uniquely made. Building All Children was grateful to give these bears to the children and know that each bear was prayed over!
The Dorcas group spends hours serving their community and sewing unique items to touch many. They even make dresses for little girls in orphanages. This ministry spends hours praying and working together, and we are THANKFUL they helped us give to the Little Light House Families!
